Slicker Recycling and Servicesure Autocentres sign a two-year partnership to help reduce carbon footprint of independent garage members.
Servicesure Autocentres, one of the UK’s fastest growing networks for independent garages, has signed a two-year partnership agreement with the UK’s market-leading specialist in waste oil and workshop waste, Slicker Recycling.
The new agreement builds on existing work done over the last four years by Servicesure Autocentres and Slicker Recycling to provide garages members with exclusive discounts for all their workshop waste needs. The continued partnership will save members significantly on waste expenditure, simplify the waste management process and most of all, ensure waste is dealt with in a compliant, hassle-free manner.
With the opening of Slicker Recycling’s joint venture re-refinery in Kalundborg, Denmark, the waste oil collected from Servicesure members will now be sent to be re-refined into a base oil product. This is a key ingredient in the production of new lubricating oils, with the process emitting 30% less CO2 than new base oil produced from crude. Servicesure members can rest assured that by using Slicker’s waste oil collection service, their carbon footprint will be dramatically reduced.
